 I am very excited to be entering my eighth year as the Principal of Blooming Prairie Elementary. I have been a "Blossom" for the past 19 years. During those 19 years I taught first grade for 10 years, fourth grade for two years, and have been the Elementary Principal for seven years. I was also the varsity baseball coach for 12 years, coached B-Squad basketball, B-Squad football, and 7th/8th grade football for many years. I have truly enjoyed my 19 years in Blooming Prairie and am excited about the future here. I look forward to continuing serving the students, staff, and community in this role. My first seven years as the Elementary Principal have been great, there have been many learning opportunities, and I welcome the challenges that lie ahead.I have been married to my wife Amy for 11 years. We have two children. Gabe will be 10 in October and will attend Fourth Grade in Blooming Prairie this year. Claire turned 7 in June and will attend Second Grade. We are happy to continue to be a part of this community and for the opportunities this school will provide our children. It is important to us to be a part of a close knit community, and for our children to learn from such a positive environment. We have a great staff here and they are very committed to our students and their success. We will work hard to provide the best possible education for each and every one of our students. We look forward to another great year. |
